Arman Boromand

Arman Boromand has extensive experience in research and development within the field of mechanical engineering and computational science. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Meta since October 2019, Arman previously held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Yale University from December 2016 to July 2019, focusing on the computational study of jamming transitions in particulate systems. A Research Scientist in Material Modeling at Corning Incorporated for a brief period in 2019 and a Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from September 2011 to December 2016, Arman has developed molecular dynamics and rheological algorithms. Academic credentials include a PhD in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, as well as multiple master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Rheology, and Polymer Engineering, all earned with honors.
