Arthur Kosmala

PhD Research Intern (Chemistry)

Arthur Kosmala is a Doctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on machine learning applications for graphs, particularly in molecules and materials, as well as time series forecasting, supported by a Linde / MDSI Fellowship. Previous experience includes participation in the Flatiron Machine Learning X Science Summer School at the Simons Foundation and a role as a Working Student in Quantum Computing at E.ON Digital Technology, where Arthur studied geometric and sampling-related errors in quantum data encoding. Additional roles include Academic Tutor and Research Assistant at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, and Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, contributing to various physics-related projects. Arthur holds a Master of Science in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics and another Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München. Recently, Arthur started work as a PhD Research Intern in Chemistry at Meta, focusing on AI for atomistic simulation.
