Ashish Tandon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in device technology and engineering. At Lumileds from June 2011 to May 2019, Ashish served as Senior Director of Device Technology R&D, leading a team focused on the development of next-generation LEDs. Prior to Lumileds, Ashish was the Director of Device R&D Engineering at Stion Corporation, overseeing the design and efficiency of thin film photovoltaic modules. Ashish's career also includes significant achievements at Novalux as an R&D Senior Device Engineer, where innovative technology in surface-emitting lasers was developed. Currently, Ashish is the Director of Display and Optics for next-generation AR at Meta and previously held the position of Head of Watch Display Technical Operations at Apple. Ashish's foundational expertise was built at Agilent Technologies, where high-speed semiconductor lasers were designed.
