Ashwin Narasimha has extensive experience in hardware engineering and design, with a career spanning multiple companies since 1997. Beginning as a Design Engineer at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, Ashwin advanced through roles at Conexant Systems and Mindspeed Inc as a Senior Design Engineer and Staff Design Engineer, respectively, focusing on high-speed programmable digital signal processing chips. At Qualcomm Inc, Ashwin established the CPU design team and managed ARM implementation efforts. Ashwin then served as Principal SSD Controller Designer at Virident Systems, driving innovation in flash technology, before becoming a Hardware Technologist and later Global Director of Hardware Engineering at HGST, leading initiatives in high-performance data storage platforms. Currently, at Meta, Ashwin is involved in developing custom silicon products for data center infrastructure.
