Ashwin Raman has extensive experience in software engineering and management within leading technology companies. Ashwin served as Head of Engineering at MetaLend from November 2022 to January 2024, and held multiple positions at Facebook, including Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at Instagram, where responsibilities included building backend infrastructure for data security and developing platforms for augmented reality and visual storytelling. Ashwin’s earlier work includes a role as a Student Researcher at Qualcomm Institute, where collaboration with Dr. Jurgen Schulze focused on mobile app development for hands-free location sharing, and experience as a Founding Developer at Eventyoda.
