Austin Powell is an experienced media professional with a strong background in editorial management and audience engagement. Austin served as Managing Editor for The Kernel and The Daily Dot, overseeing major editorial operations and implementing successful growth strategies. Previous roles include Features Director at The Daily Dot, where notable achievements included significant traffic growth and audience development, as well as Public Affairs Associate at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin. Austin began a career in radio as an On-Air Personality and Programmer with Emmis Austin Radio and contributed extensively to The Austin Chronicle as a Music Columnist.
