Avinash P.

Avinash P. is an experienced engineer with a strong background in opto-mechanical design and robotics. Beginning a career at Systemantics India Pvt. Ltd. in 2005, Avinash contributed to the design and development of industrial automation systems. In subsequent roles at Molecular Imprints, Inc. and KLA-Tencor, significant contributions were made toward Nanoimprint Lithography technology and optical inspection tools, respectively. From 2016 to May 2025, Avinash led data center robotics projects at Google, developing cutting-edge hardware and collaborating with international manufacturers. Currently serving as the Director of Robotics at Meta, Avinash continues to drive innovation in robotics and automation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
