Ayan Deka is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Economics. Ayan participated in a semester-long research project with Promoting Undergraduate Research in Engineering (PURE) at UIUC, where Ayan worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher, constructing a fully analog robot under the mentorship of Texas Instruments staff. Ayan gained industry experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Tinder, focusing on Android development, and is currently employed as a Software Engineer in the WhatsApp Infra team at Meta. Additionally, Ayan was a member of the National Organization for Business and Engineering: Illinois Chapter.
