Ben Lowenstein

Ben Lowenstein is an accomplished Engineering Manager with a strong background in software engineering and product development. At Pave, Lowenstein led teams responsible for developing data-driven products powered by machine learning. Prior to Pave, Lowenstein held various roles at Yelp, including Engineering Manager for Traffic Quality and Spam, where significant improvements were made in detecting automated site abuse and maintaining data trustworthiness. Earlier experience includes tutoring and research roles at Harvey Mudd College, where Lowenstein also contributed to systems administration in the Computer Science Department. Currently, Lowenstein serves as an Engineering Manager at Meta, focusing on ensuring the functionality and stability of tools for widespread user access. Lowenstein earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College.
