Benjamin Cheung, ACAS, currently serves as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since December 2025. Prior to this role, Benjamin was a Tech Lead for Machine Learning/Data Science at Guy Carpenter, where leadership encompassed a team of five engineers to develop a contracts analytics platform leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence in the reinsurance sector. Previous positions include Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Argo Group, focusing on geospatial analysis and advanced data extraction techniques, as well as data science roles at AIG, where pricing and risk segmentation models were developed. Benjamin began a career in actuarial sciences with prior positions at GEICO, QBE Insurance, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and additional experience in earlier roles as a Research Assistant and Sales Associate. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Sciences and Finance from Binghamton University.
