Benjamin Coles

Benjamin Coles is a skilled data engineer and machine learning intern with significant experience in developing innovative technologies. Currently serving as a Data Engineering Intern at Oculus VR since May 2021, Benjamin previously held the position of Machine Learning Intern at Below the Fold, where a multi-document summarization pipeline for news articles was developed. Educational foundations include a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, and Machine Learning from Princeton University, complemented by a role as a Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science Department. Prior experience also includes impactful research at Qatar Computing Research Institute, leveraging machine learning to analyze poverty data, and ongoing contributions as a Software Engineer at Meta since July 2022.
