Benjamin Fitzpatrick is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both public service and private practice. Fitzpatrick began a legal career as a Law Clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Leonie Brinkema from September 2004 to September 2005, followed by a role as a Senior Associate at Baker Botts from September 2005 to April 2012. Fitzpatrick then served in various capacities at the U.S. Department of Justice from January 2014 to September 2015, including Senior Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General and Senior Counsel in the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section. Currently, Fitzpatrick holds the position of Associate General Counsel, Security Legal, at Meta, starting in June 2024. Fitzpatrick earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University (1992-1996) and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School (2001-2004).
