Benjamin Schoo

Benjamin Schoo is a legal professional with extensive experience in EU and competition law. Beginning with an editorial internship at Atlantische Initiative e.V. in 2007, Benjamin transitioned to various roles in legal practice, including an internship at fischerAppelt Kommunikation and a trainee solicitor position at Ashurst, where multiple rotations covered areas such as competition law, structured products, and corporate investment funds. Following this, Benjamin served as an associate in the EU and Competition Law department before advancing to a Principal Associate role at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Currently, Benjamin holds the position of Associate General Counsel at Meta. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King's College London, a LPC from the College of Law, and a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of York.
