Benson Liu

Benson Liu is a dedicated professional with a robust background in security engineering and research. Currently serving as a Security Engineer at Meta since July 2025, Benson previously contributed to the Global Hunting Oversight and Strategic Triage (GHOST) Team at Microsoft as a Security Researcher Intern. Academic involvement includes work as an Undergraduate Researcher at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, focusing on security research in the Computer Security & Privacy Lab. Other internship experiences encompass roles at LatticeWork, CrowdStrike, and a forthcoming position at SpaceX in Security Software Engineering. Additionally, Benson gained teaching and research experience as a Residential Teaching Assistant and Student Researcher at the New Jersey Governor's School of Engineering & Technology, as well as with Trail of Bits during a winter internship. Prior experience also includes a Data Science Internship at Renaissance Learning. Education is pursued at the University of California, Los Angeles.
