Bernardo Pires

Bernardo Pires is a highly experienced research engineer currently working at Meta since November 2021. Prior to this role, Bernardo spent a decade at Carnegie Mellon University, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Commercialization Specialist, Project Scientist, and Postdoctoral Fellow. Bernardo also held a principal position at Lab 17 from 2015 until November 2021 and worked as an Associate Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from November 2004 to November 2005. Bernardo Pires holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.Sc. from Instituto Superior Técnico.
