Beverly Cotter

Beverly Cotter, PhD, has extensive experience in research and teaching, particularly in the fields of psychology and psycholinguistics. At California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, Beverly served as an Instructional Student Assistant and contributed to the Generations Study as both a Research Assistant and Research Fellow, focusing on data analysis and interview methodologies. Beverly's role at the University of Florida involved leading EEG studies on working memory and bilingualism during the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. At the University of California, Davis, Beverly's PhD research examined the cognitive mechanisms of bilingual language processing and included teaching responsibilities as both a Teaching Assistant and Associate Instructor. Recent positions include Design Research Intern at Rocket Mortgage, Research Intern at onlife, and a current role as a Researcher at Meta's GenAI team.
