Bo Sun

Bo Sun is an accomplished AI research professional with extensive experience in computer vision and multimodal models. At Meta, Bo served as a Sr. AI Research Scientist, leading projects like Mocha and launching Imagine Me in Meta AI. Bo's previous roles include AI Research Scientist focused on ego-centric computer vision and multimodal research for AR glasses, and a PhD Machine Learning Engineer at Facebook, where Bo developed few-shot learning algorithms for ads integrity. Additionally, Bo has a background as a Computer Vision Research Engineer at MEGVII, where a state-of-the-art few-shot object detection algorithm was developed, and as a CTO Assistant at Intellindust, managing optical experiment setups. Bo completed a PhD in Quantitative and Computational Biology and a Master’s in Computer Science Data Science, both from the University of Southern California.
