Bob Karaban

Bob Karaban has extensive experience in software engineering and leadership, having served as the Vice President of Engineering at SkyKick from July 2015 to August 2022, where responsibilities included recruiting and developing engineering teams, as well as implementing agile practices. Prior to this role, Bob worked as a Software Developer at User Friendly Consulting, an Owner of DevDux LLC, and an Enterprise Architect at New World Systems, focusing on public safety software solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta, Bob also held the position of System Architect at SkyKick before transitioning into the vice presidency. Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
