Boyang Yu

Boyang Yu has a diverse background in machine learning and quantitative research, having interned at ByteDance and Netflix, as well as held roles at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. and Endless Frontier Labs focusing on data-informed decision making and startup management. Academic contributions include positions as a research assistant at New York University and Harvard University, alongside a teaching assistant role at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences. Boyang has pursued extensive education in mathematics and data science, culminating in a PhD candidate status at New York University, with prior degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China, National Tsing Hua University, and summer studies at the University of Cambridge. Currently, Boyang serves as a research scientist at Meta.
