Brad Staley serves as Director and Associate General Counsel for Incident Management at Meta from July 2020 to August 2024, overseeing legal aspects related to privacy incidents across various applications such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Staley has also been a member of the US Navy Reserve since September 2013, currently providing counsel to the Naval Expeditionary Combat Command. Prior experience includes Special Counsel at Nexsen Pruet, LLC, focusing on legal advisory for developers and government contracting, and Attorney roles at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, and the US Navy, specializing in international law and government investigations. Staley holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Wake Forest University School of Law and a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University.
