Brenton Rayner

Software Engineer

Brenton Rayner is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in the animation and visual effects industries. From March 2015 to August 2020, Brenton worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Pixar Animation Studios, contributing to the RenderMan team, which produces photorealistic 3D rendering software. Following this role, Brenton has been employed at Meta since September 2020 as a Software Engineer, focusing on community building and connectivity. Prior experience includes working as a Research and Development Engineer at The Mill from August 2011 to March 2015, where Brenton was part of a renowned post-production and visual effects company. Additionally, Brenton worked on training and special projects at the Nvidia Advanced Rendering Center between June 2010 and May 2011. Brenton holds a BA in Physics and Digital Arts from Dartmouth College, obtained in 2010.
