Brian Beckman is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and physics. As a Principal Software Engineer at Amazon from 2013 to 2020, Brian co-founded Amazon Prime Air and focused on physics, simulation software, and real-time programming models. Prior experience includes roles at Microsoft as a Principal Software Architect and a Physicist/Developer, contributing to tire physics for the Forza series, and significant work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Senior Engineer and Deputy Section Manager, where Brian led the development of the Time Warp Operating System and managed data systems. Most recently, Brian serves as a Research Engineer at Meta and was a Technology Fellow at GSI, specializing in programming languages and compilers. Brian holds a PhD in Astrophysical Sciences from Princeton University.
