Brian Dahmen is an experienced software engineer with a background in both internships and professional roles primarily at Amazon Web Services and Meta. Dahmen began as an SDE Intern in Relational Database Services at AWS, where support for the MariaDB Audit Plugin was developed. This experience was followed by a full-time position as a Software Development Engineer II, and subsequently as a Sr. Software Development Engineer at AWS. Currently, Brian serves as a Software Engineer at Meta, leading efforts to build an exabyte scale data warehousing solution, in addition to fulfilling the role of Tech Lead for the Data Infra Storage Engine team. Alongside these technical positions, Dahmen has also contributed to athletics as a wrestling coach at Liberty Sr High School since November 2021. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2015.
