Brian Lal

Brian Lal is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. At Meta since July 2021, Brian has focused on the implementation and build-out of machine learning models for MetaAI, including the setup of GPU Kubernetes clusters. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Google from July 2019 to June 2021, where contributions included optimizing YouTube Ads for engagement, updating machine learning infrastructure for ad prediction, and developing tools to detect spam and unwanted ad types. Brian holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, completed between 2014 and 2016.
