Brian Yan

Brian Yan is an accomplished software engineer with a diverse background in software development and engineering. Brian began as a software engineering intern at Viacom and Google, where innovative projects included creating Chrome Extensions, web applications, and internal debugging tools. At Microsoft, Brian contributed to the Azure Compute Allocator team, optimizing VM placement on Azure Clusters while utilizing technologies such as .Net, C#, and Kafka. Brian's tenure at Meta spanned two roles, focusing on Community Chats and GenAI for Instagram Direct Messaging. Brian holds multiple degrees in Computer Science, including a Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University and the University of Southern California, as well as studies at Queen Mary University of London.
