Bryan Newton

Bryan Newton has a diverse professional background that includes roles in retail, education, and optical engineering. Bryan began as a Food Clerk at Fred Meyer from 2002 to 2007, where responsibilities included customer service and money handling. Afterward, Bryan engaged in educational roles as a Teacher's Assistant at Seattle Public School and as an English Language Instructor at Berlitz and Terna. Bryan transitioned to the optics field, serving as a Senior Fiber-optic Technician at EOSPACE Inc. and later as a Production Optical Technician at Quest Integrated. Since June 2019, Bryan has held the position of Optics Technician at Fresh Consulting and currently works as a Systems OptoME Prototyping Engineer at Meta's Reality Labs. Bryan holds a BA in Sociology with a focus on Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington, obtained in 2007. Additionally, Bryan volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in dependency proceedings and worked as a tutor in after-school programs.
