Caitlin Ahearn

Caitlin Ahearn is a research professional with extensive experience in educational research and policy analysis. Ahearn began as a mentor and tutor with America Reads at Family Focus and later held various positions, including Research Assistant at the Institute for Policy Research and Intern at the Chicago Public Schools Office of School Improvement. Ahearn worked as a Research Study Coordinator at the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University and transitioned to the role of Educational Research Fellow with the Los Angeles Educational Research Initiative. Ahearn served as a Teaching Fellow and Instructor at UCLA before obtaining a Ph.D. and is currently a postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University. Starting in June 2025, Ahearn will join Meta as a Research Scientist. Ahearn holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and Education from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. from UCLA.
