Carl Duan

Carl (Kaiyuan) Duan is an experienced data professional with a strong background in statistics and data analysis. At North Carolina State University, Carl served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Statistics, conducting research in ANOVA settings, Regression Analysis, and Conditional MRL estimation, resulting in three published journal papers and two talks presented to an audience of 500. Carl transitioned to the role of Data Analyst at North State Acceptance, LLC, where responsibilities included defining business metrics and automating reporting in PowerBI while supporting credit strategy and risk management. Most recently, Carl held positions as a Data Engineer at Meta, contributing to both the Wearables Systems DE Team and the Community Ecosystem DE Team by developing data tools for visualizing model metrics. Carl earned a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from North Carolina State University.
