Catherine Lai

Catherine Lai possesses extensive experience in risk operations and leadership, currently serving in Global Risk Operations - Business Incident Management at Meta since August 2021. As the Country Lead for the YSEALI Women Leaders Alumni Network since January 2020, Catherine drives initiatives to empower and connect women across Southeast Asia, having been selected as one of Singapore’s representatives at the US-ASEAN YSEALI Women’s Leadership Academy in 2019. Prior roles at the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore include multiple managerial positions in Industry Development and Partnerships, as well as International Relations, reflecting a strong background in policy analysis and partnership management. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from New York University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a Master of Science in Strategic Marketing with Distinction from Imperial College Business School.
