Ce Liu

Ce Liu is a highly experienced researcher in the fields of computer vision, machine learning, and computer graphics, with a career spanning several prestigious organizations. Liu served as a Research Affiliate at CSAIL MIT from 2009 to February 2024, engaging in research and teaching. A brief tenure at Microsoft as a Partner Research Manager and Chief Architect for Computer Vision occurred from January to June 2024. Prior to this, Liu was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Boston University in early 2013, teaching machine learning. Liu's role as an AI Research Scientist Director at Meta began in June 2024, following a significant period at Google from May 2017 to October 2020 as a Staff and Senior Research Scientist, where advancements in technology were successfully integrated into Google products. Liu also contributed to Microsoft Research New England as a Senior Staff Research Scientist from July 2009 to November 2014. Liu holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2009.
