Chaitra Shetty

Chaitra Shetty is an experienced hardware engineer with a strong background in battery management systems and hardware validation. At Enphase Energy, from July 2020 to August 2022, Chaitra designed a 5kWh Lithium-ion BMS for residential energy storage that complied with UL 60950 standards and contributed to significant product reliability improvements. As an Associate Engineer, Chaitra developed strategic test plans that resulted in a $15 cost reduction per unit and designed PCBs for BMS validation. More recently, Chaitra worked as an RTL Engineer Practical Trainee at Silicon Systems Research Lab, focusing on PCIe 2.0 high-speed IO design, and currently serves as a VR System Hardware Engineer at Meta, where Chaitra is developing comprehensive test plans and optimizing PMIC performance. Chaitra holds a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Washington, achieved with a 3.82 GPA, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UVCE.
