Chamath W. is an accomplished software engineering professional with a focus on site reliability engineering and DevOps practices. Chamath has held several internships, including positions at RBC, Virtu Financial, and Shopify, where significant contributions included the development of a trade break detector, cost-saving systems for venue port reconciliation, and resource optimizations for high-traffic services. Current employment is as a Production Engineer at Meta, following a role as a Production Engineering Intern at Shopify, where Chamath enhanced service resiliency through the development of observability tools. In addition, involvement with Waterloo Rocketry underscores a commitment to teamwork and innovation, contributing to Canada’s first liquid engine rocket launch.
