Chenhongyi Yang

Chenhongyi Yang is an experienced researcher in the field of computer vision and machine learning, currently pursuing a PhD at The University of Edinburgh. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Boston University, where focus was on detecting heavily occluded objects in autonomous driving images, and internships at TuSimple and Meta, where efforts were directed towards small object detection and egocentric human body pose estimation, respectively. Additionally, Chenhongyi Yang serves as an AI Research Scientist, working on human body pose estimation and human motion generation for XR applications. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University, and ongoing doctoral studies at The University of Edinburgh.
