Chintan Shah

Chintan Shah has a diverse background in data science and machine learning, with experience spanning academia and industry. Chintan served as a Visiting Professor at DA-IICT, teaching Algorithms and Data Structures, before progressing to roles in data science at companies such as Near and iQuanti, Inc., where advanced regression techniques were applied for campaign optimization and bidding strategies. Currently, Chintan works at Meta as a Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on tasks related to Instagram Shopping Whole Page Ranking, including feature engineering, model training, and mentoring. Previous academic pursuits include a PhD at Technische Universität München and a research assistantship at the University of Warwick. Chintan holds an M.Sc. in Graph Theory and Algorithms from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel University.
