Chris McDonough has extensive experience in electrical maintenance and management within the military and corporate sectors. Chris served in the US Navy from February 2018 to March 2020, holding various roles such as Staff Instructor at NPTU Charleston, where responsibilities included performing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems, and as Electrical Maintenance Manager and Planner in the USS Maryland Engineering Department, managing a team of technicians. Chris further developed expertise as the Electrical Offhull Division Leading Petty Officer and as the Electrical Division Leading Petty Officer. Transitioning to Meta from September 2022 to September 2025, Chris excelled as Lead Electrical Subject Matter Expert, driving operational excellence and safety across critical infrastructure. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Management at The Ohio State University. Additionally, Chris has completed training at the Nuclear Power School under the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
