Christopher Mei is a seasoned researcher and architect specializing in robotics, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR). With a foundational education in Computer Science from ENSIIE and a Master's in Artificial Intelligence from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Christopher's professional journey includes research positions at CNRS and INRIA, as well as a research assistant role at the University of Oxford. At Microsoft, Christopher served as the Principal Research Manager, leading a team on eye tracking and iris recognition for HoloLens, while also defining algorithmic and sensor roadmaps for HoloLens 2. Currently, Christopher holds the position of AI Research Scientist at Meta, having previously worked as a Sensor Architect for AR and VR programs at Microsoft.
