Christopher R. Upperman

Christopher R. Upperman is a Senior Manager in the Governance Organization at Meta, where they lead the Governance Partnerships Team and contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on governance strategies. Previously, they served on the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition Team and as CEO of Envolve, a multinational NGO dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in underserved communities. Christopher held significant roles within the U.S. Small Business Administration, including Assistant Administrator of Public Engagement, and has experience at the White House managing student correspondence under President Barack Obama. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Georgia State University and were recognized as one of the university's 40 Under 40 in 2019.
