Colby Sato

Colby Sato is a Senior Product Designer at Meta since March 2025, focusing on AI foundations. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Product Designer at Grindr, where Sato developed features to enhance user trust and safety, and a position as Lead Designer at Muze, which involved a successful app redesign. Sato also worked as a freelance designer, creating the first version of the Kumo app. Sato has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where leadership in the queer student union was a notable achievement. Recent education includes studying Mandarin at National Taiwan University with a Huayu Education Scholarship and participation in the Growth Series program by Reforge.
