Cong Zhao

Cong Zhao is a Senior DFX SMT Engineer at Meta, leading SMT technology for all Metaverse product lines since August 2022. Concurrently, Cong serves as a member of the IEEE ECTC Assembly & Manufacturing Technology Committee and presides over the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs at Berkeley, focusing on supporting Asian startup founders. Previously at Apple, Cong was instrumental in the co-creation of Vision Pro as a Senior DFM PCBA Engineer. Cong's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, among other degrees in engineering fields from prestigious institutions.
