Damien Chong

Damien Chong has extensive experience in hardware engineering, commencing with a role as a Motherboard Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2004 to 2006, specializing in board design validation and serial I/O compliance testing. From March 2007 to February 2012, Damien progressed to Lead Hardware Design Engineer at Intel, overseeing a team that delivered a motherboard reference design for a mainstream desktop solution while enhancing the team's technical skills and design quality. A subsequent position as Platform Power Delivery Architect involved creating power delivery architectures for next-generation platforms. After a brief tenure as a Senior Hardware Solutions Engineer at National Instruments, Damien joined Meta in October 2016, initially as a Hardware Engineer and currently serving as Technical Lead Manager, Hardware Engineering since March 2021, focusing on server design for Facebook's datacenter and influencing network interface card roadmaps. Damien holds a first-class Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
