Dan Hayden

Dan Hayden is an experienced data strategist and academic with a robust background in European law and governance. At Meta since September 2021, Dan serves as Director of Data Strategy, following a tenure at Facebook from December 2016 to August 2019 as a Data Strategist, where global initiatives on privacy and the data-driven economy were led. Dan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in European Law and Governance from University College Dublin, complemented by prior roles including Global Lead for Data Strategy at TTC Labs and Innovation Specialist at the Innovation Academy at UCD. Additionally, Dan has held leadership positions such as President of UCD Students' Union and Policy Director for a political candidate, showcasing a commitment to advocacy and innovation in regulatory frameworks.
