Daniel Häggström

Daniel Homer is currently a Security Engineer III at Akuna Capital, specializing in Security Operations, Security Automation, and AI Security since October 2023. Previously, Daniel served as a Blockchain Security Engineer at Coinbase, focusing on blockchain and smart contract auditing as well as on-chain monitoring and incident response from January 2022 to January 2023. Daniel also has experience as an Assistant Instructor in Cybersecurity at the University of Toronto and worked as a Security Analyst at Hydro One, where responsibilities included supply-chain cyber risk management and vendor risk assessments. Daniel's career began at EWA-Canada, where roles included Security Engineer I and II. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with a concentration in Computer and Internet Security and a minor in Philosophy from Carleton University, earned from 2012 to 2017.
