Daniel Scharstein is an accomplished computer scientist with significant academic and research experience. Daniel served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Williams College from 1996 to 1997 and has held various positions at Middlebury College from 2010 to 2017, including Professor of Computer Science, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Charles A. Dana Professor of Computer Science. Currently, Daniel works as a Research Scientist at Meta since January 2022. Daniel earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Cornell University between 1990 and 1996 and holds a degree in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), obtained from 1987 to 1990.
