Dave Viner

Dave Viner is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management. At Meta, from July 2015 to June 2023, Viner served as Director of Engineering, overseeing a team of 100 engineers focused on internal developer experience, open source initiatives, and new product experimentation. Previous roles at Meta included leading engineering efforts for advertising products. Prior to Meta, Viner held positions as President at VinerTech, LLC, and Vice President of Engineering at Convertro, where significant advancements in technology and team expansion were achieved. Viner also served as CTO at AboutMyBaby.com, managing various business and technical projects. Viner holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a degree in Classical Languages and Literature from the University of Chicago.
