David Brett

Software Engineering Manager

David Brett is an experienced software engineer and manager with a diverse background in the tech industry. Brett began with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and gained early experience as a Developer at Aloompa and a Mobile Networking Researcher at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems, focusing on decentralized mobile networking. Subsequent roles included serving as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead for the Cortana Skills developer platform at Microsoft, as well as positions at SeatGeek, progressing to Software Engineering Manager. Brett also founded Wayland, later acquired by Fulcrum, where Brett served as CEO before transitioning to Platform Team Director at Fulcrum. Currently, Brett holds the position of Software Engineering Manager at Meta.
