David Chontos

David Chontos is a seasoned Creative Director and Art Director with extensive experience in the animation and visual effects industry. Chontos has held key positions at prominent companies, including Creative Director roles at Nexus Studios, Apple, BUCK, and Psyop, where significant contributions to TV commercials and game trailers were made for notable clients such as Apple, Xbox, and PlayStation. At Psyop, Chontos formed and directed the Psyop Lab team, specializing in AR/VR content production and publishing the "Kismet" VR Experience. Additional freelance engagements include work as a VFX Artist and CG Artist for various projects, showcasing a versatile skill set in technical direction, character design, and artistic leadership. David Chontos holds a BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has recently returned to Meta as an Art Director in Creative Engineering.
