David Rector

David Rector is an accomplished Hardware Engineer at Meta since July 2019, with a robust background in both academia and research. Previous roles include Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory from September 1997 to June 2002, and Professor at Washington State University from July 2002 to June 2011. Additionally, David served as Development Hardware Engineer and Lead Hardware Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories from July 2017 to June 2019. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained between 1989 and 1995, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Davis, earned from 1984 to 1988.
