David Wu

David Wu is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and team lead in the Payment division at Meta since June 2018, David has a strong background in developing and implementing complex software solutions. Prior to Meta, David worked at Ant Group, where responsibilities included designing the new version of Alipay's international in-store payment APIs and supporting integration for major merchants. David's earlier roles include Tech Lead at Kohl's, focusing on distributed caching, and Senior Principal Consulting Engineer at Oracle, where David led a team in architecting business solutions for Sony Latin America. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at Datamaxx and DoubleBridge Technologies, as well as a research assistantship at Florida State University. David holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering from the University of Science & Technology of China.
