Davide Magrin

Davide Magrin is a Wireless Systems Engineer at Meta, focusing on the simulation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks to enhance XR devices, with an emphasis on latency, power consumption, P2P communication, and technology coexistence in the 5 and 6 GHz bands. Prior to this role, Davide worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, conducting ns-3 simulation campaigns under the guidance of Professor Stefano Avallone, and served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Washington, validating the 802.11ax OFDMA ns-3 implementation. Davide holds a PhD in Information Engineering, an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering, and a BSc in Information Engineering, all from Università degli Studi di Padova.
