Dawn Thomas

Dawn Thomas is an experienced professional with a strong background in machine learning, quality assurance, and engineering, having held notable positions at prominent organizations. As the Founder and Convener of the Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT Kharagpur, Dawn established one of India's largest student organizations focused on promoting entrepreneurship. Relevant experience includes roles as Industrial Quality Leader at Schneider Electric, Director for Machine Learning & AI at American Express, and Head of Machine Learning at Redfin, where significant contributions were made in developing foundational machine learning capabilities. Dawn has also engaged in research with organizations like Google and Portland State University, demonstrating expertise in computational geometry and architectural programming. Educational achievements include a part-time program at the Indian Statistical Institute, complemented by a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Currently, Dawn serves as an Engineering Manager at Meta.
